Steps to Recover Data from Virtual Hard Disks (.vhd & .vhdx)
Download & install the VHDX Virtual Hard Disk Data Recovery Software. Double click to run the software, software screen will appear with Four Recovery Modes. Choose one of the recovery modes matching best to the situation.

Locate the location of file.

The recovery wizard software will show you all hidden partitions of the Virtual Hard Disk "VHDX" and the space covered by each partition.

Choose the partition from which you want to recover data and then click next. The software will start the recovery process and produces a live report.

If you are unable to find your files or folders in the listed directory you can press back button and choose formatted recovery mode.

The softawre wizard will show you all directories and folders which helps you to navigate your files.

Users can also take help of search button to navigate files of particular name and extention.

For example user want to search a image file with extension .png then -
Users can also see the preview of the file by double clicking on it. This feature is also available in "Trail Version"

Now after selecting the files you want to recover you can press the save button to save them to your hard disk
